A huge thank-you to newly-weds Mr and Mrs Preston for this charming message received in the run-up to their wedding at St Just in Roseland.
“Dear RYST Team, we’re getting married next weekend and, as part of our celebrations, we’ve decided to collect donations at the church (St Just) for a cause close to our hearts.
We’d love for RYST to be the beneficiary.
I’ve been lucky enough to grow up sailing, and St Mawes has always been a special place for me—it’s where so many of those formative, salt-splashed memories were made. I’ve carried that passion for the water throughout my life, and I really admire the work you’re doing to open up sailing opportunities for young people in the area.”
How wonderful that among the hundreds of arrangements the Prestons had to make around the wedding, they took time to think of RYST and the young people we serve.
